Shyam Menon is the co-founder and investment director of Infuse Ventures, an early stage cleantech venture capital fund by CIIE, IIM Ahmedabad since 2012. Shyam has been deeply involved in fundraising, sourcing, investing and managing the portfolio at Infuse Ventures. His experience in venture capital prior to Infuse Ventures includes investment management roles at Conduit Ventures and also at Nadathur Holdings based in Singapore exploring cleantech investments across South East Asia between 2007 and 2012.
He was with the World Bank in Washington DC as a clean energy and transportation consultant at the the Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP) and with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) in Berkeley, California as a researcher with the China Energy Group between 2004 and 2007.
His operational experience includes materials research engineering roles at multiple corporates from2001 and 2004.
His education includes engineering from NIT Nagpur followed by UMIST at Missouri,UC Davis and Said Business School,Oxford.Shyam is on the board of serveral corporates and is the investment director to Infuse Ventures and Investment manager to Conduit Ventures.
