Rajat Gupta is the founder of TESSOL.
Rajat started his professional career at Bosch Rexroth India where he joined as an International
Management Trainee in 2003. Later at Promethean Power, he led strategy and operations as
the Chief Operating Officer bringing its thermal storage technology for milk cooling successfully
from concept to market in less than a year.
Rajat started TESSOL with the vision to create a farm to fork cold chain in India. Over the last 4
years, TESSOL has grown rapidly to be recognized as a pioneer in the sustainable cold chain
space at a global level. He has extensive experience in the energy space across India, Europe
Rajat is a mechanical engineer from IIT Delhi (2003) and has taken his MBA from Harvard
Business School (2010). He speaks English, Hindi and German (conversational). Rajat has a
strong passion for music and cooking and is actively involved in local music society.
