Kishore George was a National Merit Scholarship holder in high school who progressed by choice
towards science and graduated as a mechanical engineer. He started his entrepreneurial journey
with Aiswarya Granites in Kanyakumari district. Unfortunately a politically motivated agenda
brought the Company to a stalemate. This led him to take a wise break from this industry.
Few months later, on a family tour to Europe, he was especially drawn towards chocolate, in its
various forms and fine varieties. The entrepreneur in him immediately related this to the lack of
fine chocolate in India. What followed was almost inevitable. He picked up the fundamentals of
chocolate making from Ecole Chocolat in Canada, studied with gourmet award winning chefs in
Australia and picked technological aspects in Germany. Not long thereafter, he teamed up with
Jacob Joy, a boyhood friend and fellow chocolatier to launch LISO in 2016. Liso Chocolatier brings
chocolates at par with the finest in the world and has two outlets and also caters to corporate
gifting and events.
